Part 4: HR Diversity and EO
Taught by Dr. Tonya Fountain
Supervisors, managers, and employees have a unique challenge when it comes to adhering to practices, policies, and laws designed to govern equal employment opportunities and respect a diverse and welcoming work culture. This course will cover topics that are foundational to understanding issues that derive from not honoring the principles of Equal Employment Opportunity. The webinar will also discuss the roles and responsibilities of the employee, supervisor, and manager. Practical insight will be offered to aid in the development and support of a healthy and inclusive environment.

Employment Laws
Identification of EOO Issues (Harassment and Discrimination)
The Roles and Responsibilities of the Employee, Supervisor, and Manager
Creating and Maintaining an Inclusive Environment
Objectives: After this 1.5hrs webainr attendees will be able to:
Describe federal and state laws related to EEO and the scope and responsibilities of supervisors and managers for enforcement of these laws
Discuss how to recognize, prevent, and correct unlawful workplace harassment and discrimination
Share effective ways to create and maintain a welcoming and inclusive environment where all employees feel valued and respected
Identify best practices for working in a diverse environment

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be submitted in writing up to seven (7) business days prior to the training to receive a full refund. Cancellations received less than seven (7) business days prior to the training will be invoiced, and payments will not be refunded. No shows will be billed. Substitutions are welcomed.
