Michigan Works! Region 7B has a high priority to address gaps and take steps to strengthen the workforce. By providing a road map of resources, activities and connections, we improve the employee pipeline. Workforce Development Programs are administered locally through Workforce Development Boards (WDBs), appointed by local elected officials. The business-led WDBs have representation from education, social services, community-based organizations, economic development, rehabilitation services, labor and other groups that influence workforce development in the community. The State and Federal government – your tax dollars at work, providing funding for these programs. We are here to assistance job seekers, employers and partners offering and implementing the resources we have at our fingertips.
