The Workforce and Career Development Certification® Training (WCDC®) explores the career and workforce development competencies required for the effective delivery of high-quality, career development services. The WCDC® training utilizes the National Career Development Associations’ Facilitating Career Development curriculum and is built upon three nationally accredited, and industry-recognized certifications; including the Certified Career Services Provider Certification (CCSP), Global Career Development Facilitator Certification (GCDF), and the Certified Workforce Development Professional Certification (CWDP).. The WCDC® coursework includes over 20 core competencies that all workforce development professionals should possess in order to provide their customers with superior service and expertise in the areas of assessment, career planning, business services, working with diverse populations, and ethics.

The way we teach is unique. Our facilitators teach from experience as opposed to only delivering information. We have intentional curriculum that continuously loops through...
• Enlightenment (personal insights),
• Equipping (practical tools), and
• Empowerment (practical application and sustainment).

The course is three days, running from June 3rd through June 5th. We will start every day at 8:30 AM and end each day by 4:30 PM. 
The modules build on each other. It is imperative that you attend each day in its entirety. 
This training is applicable to anyone that wishes to communicate effectively with your co-workers, friends, family, and well... anyone you talk to!

Overview

Our Community Listens is a training that has been utilized by large corporations, non-profits, and human services organizations. It is a three-day communication skills training offering a transformational learning experience to strengthen relationships, align teams, and build stronger communities. 
You will: 
• Examine your behavioral tendencies and how to better communicate with others
• Explore how the Communication Cycle forms the foundation of your interpersonal communication
• Learn how to listen to connect with others
• Appreciate the impact your nonverbal behavior has on your verbal communication
• Develop a more effective way to handle confrontation
• See and celebrate the good in others
