Policy Essentials for Frontline Staff

Policy is messy, it is not just black and white- so how do we address the grey in policy?  This training is perfect for Michigan Works! Agency policy end user staff and policy implementers (non-management) and will introduce participants to the principles of federal, state, and local policymaking and establish a framework for implementation. This is an interactive training, participants will be engaged in reading and interpreting policy.  What does it say and what doesn’t it say?   Participants will walk away with an understanding of the why, how and who of policy.

June 4-5 - both dates start and end 9AM-4PM

Participants will utilize their laptops for this training, please bring it and your charger with you both days.
