Introducing Ryan, a seasoned leader at the helm of Michigan's workforce development landscape in his role as Chief Executive Officer. With a strategic vision and a commitment to impactful policies, Ryan serves as the catalyst for positive change in the state's business and labor sectors. His primary focus lies in fostering collaboration across Michigan, effectively coordinating the efforts of Michigan Works! staff, board members, and stakeholders to achieve shared objectives aligned with the workforce development system's core priorities.

Prior to assuming the position of CEO at the Michigan Works! Association, Ryan demonstrated his prowess during an eight-year tenure at the Michigan Economic Development Corporation. Holding the pivotal role of Regional Director of Growth & Development, he led a dedicated team with a primary focus on business retention and expansion.

A graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Oakland University (Class of 2011), Ryan champions the values of teamwork, dedication, and a positive attitude as essential components of success. His strategic approach involves building and nurturing key relationships, emphasizing a collaborative atmosphere as the fundamental framework for achieving organizational triumph.
