In her role as Training Manager, Emma brings her creative thinking and original ideation to the table. She focuses on planning, developing and promoting Michigan Works! Association training sessions and workshops, along with coordinating annual conferences, sponsorship opportunities, member services, and user groups.
Emma is poised with strong technical proficiency and experience in a range of marketing channels including social media, PR, blog content/creation, and online community building.

In this role, she traveled all over the United States while creating working relationships with global partners and overseeing the company’s social media pages and event planning. She also has experience as a Marketing Contractor for VelocityEHS, where she focused on copy editing and content strategy for various B2B websites.
Emma obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Writing from Adrian College in 2021, coupled with a double minor in Journalism and Women & Gender Studies.
In her free time, Emma loves to read. She’s currently taking on the challenge of reading all of the Lord of the Rings books! She also enjoys doing yoga to destress and find some peace & movement. It’s no surprise that she enjoys writing in her free time as well - she’s been keeping a personal online blog for five years!
