Shana Washington, SHRM-SCP has more than twenty years of successful talent acquisition experience. In her current role, she serves as Executive Director of Talent Acquisition and Workforce Development Programs for Trinity Health.

Washington has implemented several innovative recruitment and talent strategies including; workforce development programs, a regional sourcing model and hiring practices that have significantly improved and strengthened the hiring process, including the Evidence-Based Selection Process. The Evidence Base Selection Process and workforce development programs that have increased the workforce equity.

Washington has frequently been invited to speak at national conferences, including an invitation by the Obama and the Trump White House Administrations to participate in Employer Healthcare Workforce Roundtable discussions. Recently, Washington has been invited to participate on the healthcare Industry Recovery Panel that will help advise the Biden-Harris White House Administration on industry specific workforce training strategies.

Washington is an active Board member of Business Leaders United, a national organization. In addition, she serves as a Board member for the West Michigan Works! Workforce Development Board, as well as on their Executive Committee.
