Our Community Listens Deep Dive: Effective Confrontation and the Three Moves

Description

You're bugged about something… but what do you do about it? This Roundtable serves as a reminder of what our 3 Moves always are when something is bothering us. We will look at each move, reflect on when you've used each of them, and share the challenges that come with each one. We will dig deeper into some of the roadblocks when we are considering effective confrontation and what we learned in class. This session is only for alumni of Our Community Listens.

The Zoom link will be shared in your registration confirmation email. Please plan to log in 10 minutes prior to the training start time to troubleshoot technical difficulties, if any. This is an interactive webinar, please be prepared to have your camera on and microphone working.

Presenter

This training will be taught by Jill Wright.

Jill began facilitating with the Chapman Foundation for Caring Communities in 2017. As a senior facilitator, she has lead nearly 40 in-person classes and numerous virtual workshops helping hundreds of people find the courage to care in their workplaces, homes, and communities. Recently, Jill expanded her role with the Chapman Foundation as Facilitator Development and Systems Leader where she will continue to help facilitators and learners “strengthen relationships, align teams, and build stronger communities.” Prior to working with the Chapman Foundation, Jill spent more than 15 years raising money for various non-profit organizations that provided research, experiences, and education for the people those organizations served.

Jill, her husband, and two young sons live in Charleston, South Carolina. Jill believes that one of the most impactful ways she can serve the greater good is by raising her sons to be confident, empathetic, and resilient adults.
