In her role as Director of Operations, Anisa manages the day-to-day functions of the Association. She plays a significant role in the long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence and is the key planner and executor of the Association’s special events.

Prior to joining the Association, Anisa worked in a variety of positions including salon coordinator for Cartouche Institute of Skin Care; executive assistant/bookkeeper for Purity Foods, Inc.; and escrow officer for Burford Group Escrow Division.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Western Michigan University; graduate of LeadStar’s Emerging Leaders Program; graduate of Michigan Society of Association Executives Academy of Association Management; and Certified Government Meeting Professional.

Anisa says that honesty, integrity and a strong work ethic are the values that drive her, and she enjoys working for the Association because she has a great deal of control as the CEO trusts her to produce high-quality work and get the job done. She added that she is inspired by learning new things and coming up with ideas to improve something or make something new and being recognized for that.

In her free time, Anisa enjoys spending time with her family, as well as traveling and spending time with friends.
