Lee Graham

Executive Director, Operating Engineers 324 Labor Management Education Committee

Lee Graham is the Executive Director of the Operating Engineers 324 Labor Management Education Committee. He has been a member of Operating Engineers 324 for 30 years, starting out as a Graduated Apprentice of the Department of Labor Office of Apprenticeship and has served a variety of leadership positions during this time. This includes nine years as the Director of the Operating Engineers 324 Journeyman & Apprentice Training Fund. He has been an Operating Engineers 324 Trustee for the past 12 years and the Treasurer for the last year.

Graham oversees and directs Operating Engineers 324’s considerable recruitment outreach, as well as many of their community improvement volunteer efforts. He has been a strong advocate for pre-apprenticeship programs in urban areas and spearheaded the efforts resulting in a significant grant from the Ralph C. Wilson Foundation to advance Operating Engineers technological abilities to engage K-12 students considering a path into the skilled and professional trades.

In addition to his duties with Operating Engineers 324, Graham serves on many prominent boards in the industry, including as Chairman of the Michigan Apprenticeship Steering Committee, Inc. (MASCI), the Advisory Board for the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT–OJT), Michigan Workforce Development Board (MWDB), MI Stem Advisory Council, Michigan Urban Search and Rescue (MUSAR) and Southeast Michigan Community Alliance Workforce Development Board, Oakland County Workforce Development Board and Southeast Michigan Workforce Development Board.

Graham is a native of Mount Pleasant, Michigan, and currently resides in Holly with his wife and children.
