Event Overview
- The Association hosts Legislative Day annually to promote workforce development in Michigan and increase awareness on current issues that affect the Michigan Works! System.
- Workforce development professionals from across the Michigan Works! System convene in Lansing to visit their district legislators and inform them on a variety of workforce issues regarding Michigan’s workforce development needs.
- During these meetings, attendees advocate for workforce and economic development in Michigan, share information and articulate concerns to increase awareness, funding and support of the Michigan Works! System.
