Event Overview
- The Association hosts Legislative Day annually to promote workforce development in Michigan and increase awareness on current issues that affect the Michigan Works! System.
- Workforce development professionals from across the Michigan Works! System convene in Lansing to visit their district legislators and inform them on a variety of workforce issues regarding Michigan’s workforce development needs.
- During these meetings, attendees advocate for workforce and economic development in Michigan, share information and articulate concerns to increase awareness, funding and support of the Michigan Works! System.
Legislative Day Dinner
This year, a dinner will follow Legislative Day at Troppo. This dinner is an opportunity for attendees to network and learn more about the legislative issues affecting workforce development in Michigan.
