Request for Proposal - 2015 Michigan Works! Annual Conference


1. In the F&B requirements, you indicated you need one lunch for 600 people. Is this a separate room for lunch? Is it lunch on Monday or lunch on Monday and Tuesday both? And, can it be within the same general session space? I looked at your agenda from 2011, and I am assuming the 600 person lunch is the lunch on Monday, but just wanted to be sure.

There is only one lunch and it takes place on Monday, the lunch is held in the general session space. We do not have a lunch on Tuesday.

2. We are working on putting together your proposal for 2015 and on peak you actualized 268 rooms and in 2015 you are asking for 350. Do you expect more attends in 2015 is there something special about this year vs. this past year? 

The intent is to ensure all of our guests are able to stay in one location. The number we are requesting reflects an increased number to accommodate for growth at our conference and fluctuations in our registrations.

3. We do not have your preferred dates available. Would you consider the following: Sept. 19-23, 2015 / Sept 12 week.

Request for Quote - Office Supply Vendor


1. What is the estimated annual dollar amount of these items? The qty for each item is 1 so I can’t get an annual spend amt.

Our office supply budget for 2013 is $3,000.

2. What about the other office supply items, such as writing, pads, etc is there an opportunity for those items.

Yes, the list simply reflects commonly purchased items.

3. Can you tell me the value of the Michigan Works program, ie. what did you spend on supplies for this program last year?

4. Are you buying pother products besides what is on the attached list?

Yes, the list simply reflects commonly purchased items.

5. Do you have usage on the product list you provided?

It varies year by year, depending on multiple factors.

6. Do you know what your average order size was last year?

Our average order size is typically $150-$200.

1. I am looking for the cut off date for submitting a proposal for the “Training Services” Bid

INSTRUCTIONS ON PROPOSAL SUBMISSION
This is a three (3) year rolling RFP. Electronic or hardcopy proposals will be accepted through November 1, 2014.

Verbal Q&A will not be permitted. To ensure an equitable dissemination of information, questions and responses to e-mailed questions will be posted on the Michigan Works! 2. Would the webinars be recorded and/or delivered live from your Michigan Works! office? 

The training platform allows trainers to present or record webcasts from any location with internet access and a headset with a microphone. Travel to the Association office is not required.

3. Would prerecorded webinars be available for a certain time period or a finite number of downloads?

Prerecorded and recorded lived webcasts will be available for a timeframe determined by need and at the discretion of the Association.

4. Will we have to provide all requested training formats (i.e. Webcast live/recorded, classroom) or can we specify in our response which formats we are capable of providing?

Proposals should indicate the type(s) of training formats they are capable of providing. You may propose any or all of the following requested formats; classroom style, live webcast or recorded webcast.
