Meet Tim
Until 2008, Tim managed a sales team at the Customer Service Center for a West Michigan regional bank. He was downsized and visited Ottawa County Michigan Works! in Holland for additional support.
Tim’s ambition was to change his career from finance to healthcare and he took the necessary steps to change his career.
Over the next two years, he earned an Associate’s Degree of Applied Science and was certified through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting. He also volunteered at Holland Hospital’s Same Day Surgery department to gain valuable experience.
Tim graduated from Baker College in Muskegon, and Cathy Ebel, Clinical Manager of Perioperative Services at Holland Hospital was thrilled to hire him upon his successful completion.
“Tim has exceeded expectations, and is an exceptional person. We are very fortunate to have him on staff, and personally I hope he continues his education so he can move along a continuing career path,” said Cathy.
He plans to continue his education to become a Registered Nurse.
